Christian Counseling
Evidence-based therapy where your faith is welcomed at the table — only as much as you want it to be.
Who this is for
Adults who want their Christian faith thoughtfully integrated into therapy, on their terms and at their pace.
Common struggles
- Faith and mental health questions that feel hard to bring elsewhere
- Spiritual struggles after loss, trauma, or transition
- Tension between what you have been taught and what you are experiencing
- Longing for prayer and Scripture to be part of your healing — when invited
- Guilt about needing therapy at all when you have already been praying
- Church hurt, or a community where appearing stable matters more than being honest
How therapy helps
Evidence-based therapy remains the foundation of treatment. In the first session you decide how present faith should be, and you can adjust that at any point. Scripture and prayer are incorporated only when you request them, and never imposed. The clinical work — CBT, ACT, exposure, and trauma-informed care — does the therapeutic lifting, while faith provides meaning rather than substituting for treatment. This is licensed mental health care, not pastoral counseling, discipleship, or spiritual direction, and it is not a replacement for your church community. Doubt, deconstruction, and questions you cannot ask in small group are safe here; there is no denominational agenda and no pressure toward a particular conclusion.
